Herbert Dickerson 1940 The death occurred at the Dubbo District Hospital on
Saturday morning after five weeks in that institution, of Mr. Herbert Dickerson, of Eumungerie, at the age of 63
years. The late Mr. Dickerson had resided in the
Eumungerie district for the past 25 years, and is survived
by his widow and the following family: Mrs. W.
Williams (Dubbo), Mrs. R. Bell (Eumungerie), Mrs. W.
McLean (Eumungerie), and Roy (Eumungerie). The
late Mr. Dickerson was born at Orange and married
Miss Ethel Priest, a member of a well known Stuart Town family.
A service was held at Holy Trinity Church, Dubbo, on
Saturday afternoon after which iterment took place at
the Church of England portion of the Dubbo Cemetery. Both
services were conducted by Rev. C. W.

Ezedora Milvenia Dohnt 1938 The death occurred at Orange on Thursday morning of Ezedora Milvenia Dohnt, wife of Mr. Ernest Dohnt, of "Coloraine" Eumungerie. The deceased, who was born at Manly and married at Dubbo, was only 26 years of age.Her untimely passing is
regretted by a wide circle of
residents and friends of the district where she
was so well known. The late Mrs. Dohnt will be
well remembered in Gilgandra as
Miss. Ezedora Sousa, daughter of
Mr. Sousa, a one time band master
here. After several years in
Gilgandra the family moved to Junee,
where Mrs. Sousa died. Ten years ago,
deceased went to Eumungerie, and
was later married at Dubbo.
Besides her husband, deceased is
survived by four children —
Balfour (6), Joyce (5), Lawrence (3) and
Robin (18 months). The remains were conveyed to Dubbo, where the funeral took
place on Friday morning. The cortege left
Shakespeare's funeral chapel for
the Church of England portion of the
Dubbo cemetery at 11
o'clock. The Rev. C. W. Leavers conducted the

Funeral at Dubbo The funeral of the late Mrs. Ernest Dohnt, whose death was reported in Thursday's 'Liberal,' took place on Friday morning at Dubbo. After a service held at Shakespeare's chapel, where the Rev. C. W. Leavers extended the sympathy of all present to' the relatives, and referred, to this good i works of the deceased, the cortege j moved to the Church, of England portion of Dubbo cemetery. Interment was made by C. J. Mary Dixon 1941 In a private hospital at Dubbo the death occurred on Sunday night of Mrs. Mary Dixon (76) relict of the late Robert Dixon, of Scotland. Deceased was born at Vonire, in Scotland, and following upon the death of her husband in 1928 she came to Australia to reside with her only child, Mrs. J. R. McLean, of 'Westella,' Eumungerie. She had not enjoyed good health for the past seven months. The funeral took place m the Presbyterian portion of the Dubbo cemetery this morning, the Rev. G. M. Scott officiating. C. J. Mrs. Mary Dixon died in a Dubbo private hospital on Sunday at the age of 76 years, and her passing marked the close of a remarkable life. Although for several months preceding her death Mrs. Dixon had not, enjoyed good health, she was 75 years of age when she entered hospital for the first time as a patient. On only two prior occasions had she found cause to seek medical attention. Mrs. Dixon was born at Moniave, parish of Glencairn, county of Dumfriesshire, and her father was a commissioned, officer who fought in and returned from the Crimean War. She was a member of a very old border family. Her late husband was Mr. Robert Dixon, and on his death 12 years ago her only daughter (Mrs. J. A. McLean, of 'Westella,' Eumungerie) went home to Scotland to bring her mother to Australia. Subsequently Mrs. Dixon lived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. McLean. Also surviving is a brother, Mr. John Irving, manager of the Border Control Board, and a resident in the town of Annan. Burial was made in the Presbyterian portion of the Dubbo cemetery on Tuesday morning, the Rev. G. M. Scott officiating. Dubbo Liberal 30 January 1941
Charles Darling 1937 The death occurred early on Monday morning at the Orange
Base Hospital of Mr Charles Robert Darling, farmer of “Thimbleton” Eumungerie,
at the age of 53 years. He was taken into the Dubbo District Hospital on Sunday
week suffering frommeningitis and on
the Wednesday, was removed to the Orange Base Hospital, where he since underwent
three operations. The second operation disclosed the meningitis and he
afterwards became conscious and there were hopes of his recovery, but he
subsequently lapsed into unconsciousness from which he never rallied. The
deceased gentleman was born at Maryvale, and lived in the Dubbo district practically
all his life. Since he was married 31 years ago, he resided at Eumungerie,
where he carried out farming operations. He leaves a wife and seven children,
the latter being Mrs. McKenzie (Eumungerie), Robert and Arnold
("Thimbleton," Eumungerie), Mrs. E. Kable (Dubbo), Jean (Dubbo), and
Lorna, Jack and Edward, who resided at "Thimbleton" with their
parents. The late Mr. Darling is survived by his mother, who resides
at Geurie, and the following sisters and brothers: Miss Ethel Darling (Leura),
Mrs. Walter Craigie (Coogee), Alfred (Dubbo) and James. The body was conveyed by motor hearse to Dubbo and the
funeral left Holy Trinity Church at 3 p.m.
on Tuesday for the Church of England portion of the Dubbo

Dulcie Olive Darling 1919 DEATH OF A CHILD Dulcie Olive Darling, the 2½-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darling, of Eumungerie, and granddaughter of Mr. A. Liddell, saddle and harness maker, of Dubbo, died at the District Hospital on Saturday morning. The little girl, who had never been ill before, took bad with an apopletic fit on Thursday, and was brought into town by Mr. Jack Wheaton, of Eumungerie, in his motor car on Friday afternoon. She was taken to the hospital, but despite the best of care and treatment she succumbed on Saturday evening. The body was interred in the Church of England portion of the general cemetery, the service being read by the Rev. C. W. Leavers,Rector of Holy Trinity Church. Mr. E. ETHEL MARY MATILDA DICKERSON 1953 Mrs. Ethel Mary Matilda Dickerson, aged 69, of Darling Street, Dubbo, died in the Dubbo Base Hospital yesterday morning after a long illness. A well-known resident of Dubbo she was a prominent member of the Holy Trinity Brothers' Union. She was bom at Stuart Town and married at Wellington to Herbert Henry Dickerson, who died in 1940. After their marriage they carried out farming and grazing activities at Eumungerie for many years. On her husband's death, Mrs. Dickerson came to Dubbo to live. She is survived by four daughters, Gladys (Mrs. V. M. Williams, Edith (Mrs A. R Wheeler), and Elsie (Mrs. W. G. McLean), all of Dubbo, and Doris (Mrs. J. Murphy), of Sydney, and a son, Roy, of Dubbo. A service will be held in Holy Trinity Church about 3 pm and will be conducted by Brother Richard. After the service, the funeral will leave for the Church of England portion of the Dubbo cemetery, where she will be buried next to her late husband. Messrs. C. J. Elizabeth Dohnt 1940 Mrs. Elizabeth Ellen Dohnt, wife of Mr. J. P. W. Dohnt, of "Bonny Doon," Eumungerie, collapsed and died at her home on Saturday after noon. Although the deceased had been very ill of late, she had shown signs of a good recovery, and the tragic suddenness of her death came as a shock to her husband and sons, who left her in good spirits in the morning and received the sad new a from a friend in town. The deceased lady was born at Harcourt (Victoria) 67 years ago, and was married at Narioka, in that State. She is survived by her husband and the following family: Ernest (Eumungerie) Tim (Eumungerie), John (Obley Road), Francis (Eumungerie) Mrs. G Haines (Eumungerie), and Allen (Eumungerie). The sympathy for deceased and the esteem in which she was held, was shown by the large and representative district attendance at the funeral cortege, which moved, from Holy Trinity Church, Dubbo, on Sunday afternoon, after a memorial service, in which the Rev.
